The MeT division has given an orange climate cautioning of substantial to weighty downpours in fields and mid-slopes on July 12 and 13 July and yellow climate cautioning for July 14 and 15.
The MeT office in Shimla said that avalanches and removing of trees may happen because of precipitation and cautioned the overall population and travellers not to wander close to the waterway banks as the water level may increment.
In the mean time, a downpour set off a glimmer flood in Lar tehsil of Kashmir’s Ganderbal area on Monday morning. The glimmer flood harmed private houses and streets. Notwithstanding, there was no report of any death toll in the occurrence.
