Bikaner in Rajsthan is going to become the first city in India to start a door to door Covid vaccination drive on Monday. This drive will vaccinate the people of age 45+ group.
Bikaner city is going to become the first city in India to launch a door to door Covid vaccination drive on Monday. This drive will vaccinate the people of age 45+ group. Three mobile teams have been prepared with two ambulances fully loaded of vaccines. The district administration has started a helpline number so that people can register for the slots and people can inform them to provide them vaccines at their door steps.
According to the reports , when minimum ten people completed their registration for the jabs. Van will leave from one address to another after providing slots and a medical team also stay with the person for observation.
Sixteen primary health centres are also established in the Bikaner where the team of medical staff is also available and they will informed in which area slots are provided. If any person get side effect from vaccine doctors can also monitor them.
District Magistrate Namit mehta, Bikaner said that experts are working on finding anticipate third wave of corona virus. And the goal of this ambulance drive is to vaccinate at least 75% senior citizens before arrival of third wave of pandemic. This new start will help us to battle with third wave of pandemic COVID because it will increase immunity of people vaccinated and it will break the chain of pandemic and resulting decrease the death rate of Bikaner.
Mumbai was also supposed to be the first city in this drive but The Union Minister suggested the Bombay High Court that near-to-door vaccination is an appropriate solution as against the door to door.
This kind of efforts seems that government is aware for controlling pandemic corona virus. The ambulance drive will be prove more effective in this chain. At least maximum number of people above from 45 will be vaccinate and that will help in breaking the chain of pandemic. Due to which we can battle with upcoming wave of this pandemic.
