NEW DELHI:- Prime Minister Narander Modi announced yesterday that people those are above 18 will get free vaccination from june 21. The centre was buying vaccine slots for states and UTs. PM also said only 25% slots will provide to private hospitals with a service charge cap of RS 150/jab.
“The states and UTs will not have to bear any penny for single vaccine slot”; Modi. PM said from second to ninth address to the nation this year since pandemic struck.
the decision to allow states to procure 25% of the shots was reverse, resulting lowering the vaccination rate in may. More than half dozen CMs wrote to Prime Minister when the policy had come into effect. Cheif Ministers demanded for centre buying vaccination and make the availability at free of cost for adults too. There is a request to vaccine maker that they provide slots as soon as possible to states.

PM said People of the country are waiting in proper discipline manner. On the other hand several questions were raised like why age group system was adapted by govt, why centre govt fixed age limit, some state govt wanted to decentralised the procuring process of vaccination. When state govts realised for process they again shifts all the responsibilities to centre govt.
Prime Minister Modi also expressed his love and sympathy towards the people who lost their near ones in this pandemic second wave and called to people to stay safe , maintain social distancing and take precautions.
